Jessie + Rodd - expecting!

Earlier this week we had the exciting task of capturing maternity photos for Jessie and Rodd.  This shoot was challenging for us - not only was the sun shining brighter than it had in weeks, but we were also nervous because Jessie is a talented photographer (check our her website - Ruby Blue Photography). Fortunately for us, she's also a good friend so she was relaxed and let us do our thing! Congratulations guys! We couldn't possibly be any happier for you and we're anxiously awaiting Baby Z's arrival in August.

Meaghan + Mike - Engagement

Earlier this month we had a blast shooting Meaghan and Mike's engagement session. They are two of the friendliest and funniest people we've had the opportunity to work with - they giggled throughout the entire shoot :) We're so, so excited for their wedding September long weekend!

Sara + Malcolm... expecting

Sara and I have been friends since we were in the 5th grade, when our days were spent trading hockey cards, riding our bikes, and building forts in the hills of Fort Qu'Appelle.  You wouldn't ever catch us without our ballcaps on - Pittsburgh Penguins for me, and Toronto Maple Leafs for her.  :)  Oh, how times have changed!  Sara and her husband, Malcolm, are expecting their first child, and he/she is arriving this week!  Good luck you two, I can't wait to meet the new little addition!

Amber

Meet Amber!  A.K.A. Hamster, "Hamstey", or Ambam.  Amber is my lil' Sister-in-law from Ituna, SK, who graduates from high school this year.  We travelled out to Ituna a few weekends ago to do some fun, outdoor, casual photos for her in celebration of her graduation, and spent all afternoon there!  Who would have thought Ituna had so many great locations?!  Well, that versatile little town, together with a couple of great subjects (Amber's boyfriend, Wyatt, joined us on the shoot) made for a great day of shooting.  Congratulations on your graduation, Amber!  I hope you'll enjoy living the city life in Saskatoon next year!
