Regina Wedding Photographers | Danielle + Craig

After meeting with Danielle and Craig earlier this year we knew right away they were pretty awesome people. If we hadn't figured it out on our own, perhaps we would have clued in on Saturday when we heard Danielle being called "Auntie Awesome" by her niece (take note, nephews of mine - "Auntie Chicken" is ready to trade up for a more flattering handle). I could gush about Danny and Craig - they're THAT nice and THAT fun and THAT awesome. But this is a gush-free blog (most of the time), so I'll hold back:)

Danielle and Craig's wedding day was beautiful. The service, the dress, the hair, the details - there wasn't a single thing that was overlooked. One of Danielle's bridesmaids is the mastermind behind many of the stunning arrangements you see from Wascana Flower Shoppe, and the pieces she created for Danielle and Craig were nothing less than works of art. Brandi and I watched jaws drop as people walked into the reception.

Danny and Craig, we had such a fun time with you, your families and your wedding party. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome - from the second we walked in the salon until the moment we wrapped up the day. We had a fabulous time with you guys. Aloha!

Regina Wedding Photography | Lauren + Travis

We knew it was going to be an interesting day when Travis' limo got stuck in a traffic jam caused by a Caribbean parade. For readers not in Regina, a Caribbean parade is not a common occurrence in our landlocked city. Even without the parade, it felt like a Caribbean wedding - we were on the verge of a heat wave and there was a man tanning in revealing swim trunks while we were shooting photos :)

We had been excited about Lauren and Travis' big day for a looong time, and it did not disappoint! It was a beautiful wedding that captured Lauren's fun, sophisticated style. Lauren and Travis were one of the most laid back couples we've worked with. Despite just getting his cast removed and still being stuck in a rather uncomfortable looking boot contraption, Travis didn't complain once as we trekked around the city. Ruptured Achilles or not, he brought his A game:)

Lauren and Travis, it was wonderful spending more time with you guys and getting to know your friends and family. Thanks so much for letting us spend the day with you. We wish you nothing but the best!

I like to call these shots "inappropriate joke time"

Saskatchewan Wedding Photography | Andrew & Anne

Last weekend we headed back to Ituna & Melville for Andrew and Anne's wedding.  These two are so sweet!  After only a few minutes of being around them it is evident how in tune they are with each other, and how totally in love they are.  Anne looked absolutely stunning in her v-neck dress - a style which I really love, and of course Andrew looked ever the handsome Englishman. :)  We were having such a great time working with them that I had to do a double-take when I looked at my watch near the end of the day - the time had flown by!  Congratulations Anne and Andrew, I hope you had a great time on your trip to Nova Scotia!

Regina Wedding Photography | Kelsea + Jeremiah

Tuesday was a beautiful day for a wedding, and what a beautiful wedding it was!

We met Kelsea early this year after she won the Bella Carta Studios gift certificate at the Wedding Expo in January. We've enjoyed getting to know Kelsea over the months and were excited to finally meet Jeremiah. Kelsea and Jeremiah had a beautiful, elegant ceremony at the Delta. They opted to have their photos taken before the ceremony, so we set up a "first look" so they could have a special moment to see each other before things got rolling. After this quiet moment, the day really flew by.

Thanks Kelsea, for explaining the significance behind the various ceremonies and details of the day. With your guidance we were able to truly capture your story from behind our lenses. We wish you and Jeremiah all the best in your new life together in Missouri. Mazel tov!
